Super Micro Computer Inc. (SMCI) and Deckers Outdoor Corp. both jumped during the premarket hours on Monday following the news that the two companies will join the S&P 500 index as part of a quarterly rebalance later this month.
During the second quarter of its fiscal 2024, Super Micro's revenue skyrocketed by 103% on an annual basis to land at $3.6 billion, with "continued" demand for artificial systems (AI) at "rack scale."
Shares of Super Micro Computer surged 11.98% to $108.52 per share at 6:44 am ET. At the same time, Deckers climbed 5.61% to $50.71 apiece.
