Supermicro clears review, to replace CFO David Weigand

Super Micro Computer, Inc. announced on Monday the completion of an independent investigation led by a special committee formed in response to concerns raised by Ernst & Young LLP.

The findings confirmed no evidence of fraud or misconduct by management or the Board, affirming the integrity of its financial reporting. The review, supported by Cooley LLP and Secretariat Advisors, involved extensive document analysis and interviews.

Key measures were recommended, including appointing a new Chief Financial Officer, Chief Accounting Officer, and Chief Compliance Officer. According to the announcement, the current CFO, David Weigand, is set to resign following the investigation.
