Sweden probes another cable damage in Baltic Sea

Sweden is investigating another incident related to the damage of cables in the Baltic Sea, the Swedish Coast Guard said in a statement cited by TT News Agency on Friday.

The breakage of the cables running between Germany and Finland happened off Gotland. In a separate statement, Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson revealed that the government is aware, and takes "all reports of possible damage to infrastructure in the Baltic Sea very seriously."

Similar incidents took place at the end of last year.
