Switzerland: Possible to use Russia's assets for Ukraine restoration

Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs spokesperson Fabian Maienfisch shared with Ria Novosti on Wednesday that it is "theoretically possible" to use the Russian Central Bank's assets for Ukraine restoration.

However, he added that, at the moment, nothing has been decided yet, and that discussions on the matter are open.

Previously, the Swiss government revealed in a statement that the total reserves and assets of the Russian Central Bank in Switzerland stand at 7.4 billion Swiss francs or approximately $8.3 billion.
