T-Mobile US, Inc. said on Wednesday that its revenue in the third quarter of 2024 amounted to $20.2 billion, marking a 5% increase from the same period in 2023. The company's net income surged by 43% year-on-year to land at $3.1 billion in the third trimester of fiscal 2024.
The diluted earnings per share jumped by 43% compared to the same quarter of 2023 to land at $2.61. The company said it added 315,000 postpaid net accounts, 1.6 million postpaid net customers, 865,000 postpaid phone net customers, and 415,000 high-speed internet net customers.
"Delivering another quarter of industry-leading results, including our best Q3 postpaid phone net adds in a decade and record low Q3 churn, translated into outsized financial results and empowered us to raise our 2024 guidance yet again," CEO Mike Sievert said. The company's shares rose 3.19% in premarket after the release of the report.
