T-Mobile US, Inc. announced on Wednesday that it had posted $66.2 billion in service revenue for the 2024 fiscal year and $16.9 billion for the fourth quarter, both leading the industry.
On the other side, net income reached $11.3 billion for 2024, a 36% increase from the previous year, while fourth-quarter net income stood at $3.0 billion, up 48% from the same period in 2023. Earnings per share (EPS) rose 39% to $9.66 for the full year and $2.57 for the quarter. The company also reported record-breaking customer growth in the 12 months, adding 6.1 million postpaid customers, the highest in the industry.
"In 2024, more new postpaid customers chose the Un-carrier than ever before, and we had our lowest ever full-year postpaid phone churn, leading to our third year of more than 3 million postpaid phone net additions," Mike Sievert, CEO of T-Mobile, said.
After the financial results, T-Mobile's shares jumped almost 7% in the premarket in New York.
