Asia-Pacific mixed after BoJ minutes

Major stock indexes in the Asia-Pacific traded mixed on Monday after the Bank of Japan (BoJ) revealed that it came to the conclusion during its monetary policy meeting that the Japanese economy is likely to continue recovering moderately for the time being, according to the minutes released on Monday.

Australia's S&P/ASX 200 gained 0.56% at 3:20 am CET, with South Korea's Kospi Composite down by 0.17% a minute later. Hong Kong's Hang Seng was up by 0.38% at 3:21 am CET, while, on the Chinese mainland, the Shanghai Composite and the Shenzhen Composite decreased by 0.25% and 0.73%, respectively and Japan's Nikkei 225 was down 0.77% at 3:22 am CET.

On the currency front, the dollar traded 0.22% lower against the yen, going for ¥151.0980 at 3:23 am CET.
