Tesla's Q3 deliveries at 462,890

Tesla Inc. announced on Tuesday that its deliveries in the third quarter of 2024 came in at 462,890 units, up 6.4% on an annual basis. Out of the total deliveries, the carmaker's Model 3/Y made up the majority, with the number at 439,975, while other models amounted to 22,915.

Tesla added that in the reported trimester, a total of 469,796 cars were produced, 443,668 of which were Model 3/Y. The figure jumped 9% year over year. While delivery digits were somewhat below analyst expectations, production beat estimates.

The company's stock tumbled 3.49% in the premarket after the release of the report.
