Tesla allegedly raises year-end discount in US to $7,500

Tesla Inc. is expanding its year-end discount from $3,750 to $7,500, doubling the offer, for Model Y and Model 3 automobiles in the United States, Electrek reported, citing sources familiar with the matter.

According to Electrek, the move was made in order to solve the demand issues the carmaker has been facing lately, with the offer for the two models valid for deliveries made by the end of this month.

In addition to this, the company also announced that it would give free Supercharging credits of up to 10,000 miles to consumers that "take a delivery of a new Tesla vehicle between December 15 and December 31."
