Tesla begins delivering Semi trucks

TESLA

At a company event in Nevada, Tesla Inc. formally unveiled the first group of Semi trucks it will deliver to PepsiCo Inc.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk specified that traditional trucks account for only 1% of all vehicles in the United States, but are responsible for 20% of all vehicle emissions in the US and that their competitor Semi complements the company's policy of accelerating sustainable energy. The Semi will be able to offer driving 500 miles on a single charge, according to the automaker.

During the same presentation, the company only showed the name of a project called "Robotaxi" lined up next to other, well-known classes of Tesla vehicles.
