Tesla Inc. daughter company Tesla (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. filed a recall for Model 3 and Model Y vehicles, affecting 77,650 units, Chinese State Administration for Market Regulation announced on Tuesday.
As per the report, the vehicles in question were domestically produced in the period between 28 September 2021 and 22 November 2024. The recall is tied to the software not immediately displaying possible tyre pressure monitoring system faults after the vehicle is started under certain circumstances.
Meanwhile, Tesla Motors (Beijing) Co. is also recalling 63 imported Model S and Model X electric vehicles with production dates between 20 November 2024 and 26 November 2024 due to airbag composition issues.
