At least three people died and one was injured on Friday after a small plane crashed in Boca Raton, Florida, according to the local police department.
Boca Fire Rescue's Assistant Fire Chief Michael LaSalle said at a news conference that the aircraft "had apparently some mechanical issues and went down here on Military Trail," adding that there was also a car on the ground that hit a tree because of "all the debris and the fire." LaSalle confirmed that while all three passengers from the plane died, the man in the car survived, sustaining non-life-threatening injuries.
