Thunberg arrives in France after deportation

Swedish climate and human rights activist Greta Thunberg landed in France following her deportation by Israeli authorities. Thunberg was part of a group of 12 Palestinian supporters aboard a Gaza-bound vessel that Israeli forces intercepted.

According to France's Foreign Minister, five fellow passengers who were also held on the Madleen humanitarian ship Monday have declined voluntary departure and face deportation. Among those detained by Israeli authorities on Monday was Rima Hassan, who serves as a Member of the European Parliament.
