Tokyo inflation at 3.3% in October

The annual inflation rate in Tokyo stood at 3.3% in October, increasing compared to September's 2.8%, the country's Statistics Bureau revealed in its report issued on Friday. On a monthly basis, consumer prices grew by 1.0%.

The Consumer Price Index, excluding fresh food, came in at 2.7% on an annual level, growing from the previous month's 2.5%. Excluding food and energy, the figure landed at 3.8%, down from September’s revised 3.9%.
