The Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) said on Thursday that Alphabet's Google must remove all data from search results that users prove is incorrect.
"The operator of a search engine must dereference information found in the referenced content where the person requesting dereferencing proves that such information is manifestly inaccurate," the European Union's top court noted in a statement.
The decision puts an epilogue to the CJEU's case labeled "C-460/20 Google."
