TotalEnergies SE announced on Thursday that its revenue in the third quarter of the fiscal year 2022 came in at $6.6 billion, rising by 43% compared to the same period in 2021.
The company's adjusted net income more than doubled year-on-year, hitting $9.9 billion. Meanwhile, its adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) soared by 74% on an annual level to reach $19.4 billion.
"In this favorable environment, taking into account income and production taxes of $26 billion worldwide, the company is implementing a balanced value-sharing policy with an exceptional one-month-salary bonus in 2022 to all its employees worldwide and, as announced on September 28, its shareholder return policy targeting 35-40% cash flow payout beginning in 2022," TotalEnergies' Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Patrick Pouyanne stated.
