TotalEnergies and Daimler Truck AG announced on Wednesday they signed a partnership agreement to collaborate in the development ecosystems for heavy-duty trucks running on hydrogen.
The companies stressed their commitment to " the decarbonization of the road freight in the European Union."
Under the deal, TotalEnergies plans to operate up to 150 hydrogen refueling stations in Germany, France and the Benelux countries by 2030, while Daimler Truck will supply hydrogen-powered fuel-cell trucks to its customers in those countries by 2025.
