TotalEnergies SE stated on Thursday that its consolidated net income in the fourth fiscal quarter of 2021 amounted to $5.9 billion, soaring more than sixfold from the corresponding timeframe a year earlier.
Fully-diluted earnings per share also increased six times from the closing trimester of 2020 to $2.17 in the final three months of 2021. Sales were 59% up, reaching $60.3 billion.
Full-year 2021 consolidated net income was $16.4 billion, as opposed to a consolidated net loss of $7.3 billion from the entire 2020. Sales grew 46% to $206 billion and fully-diluted earnings per share improved to $5.92 from a fully-diluted loss per share of $2.90.
