Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing North America, Inc. will recall a total of 106,061 vehicles in the United States over issues with the braking system, the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) said on Tuesday.

According to the NHTSA documents, the recall of the units of 2024-2025 Tacoma 4-wheel drive vehicles was ordered due to a potential brake fluid leak caused by mud and dirt damaging the rear brake hoses.

The company will replace both hoses for free. Owners will receive a safety notification by March 24, 2025, and a follow-up once the fix is available.
