Toyota Motor Co. reported a net income of ¥2.19 trillion ($14.31 billion) in the third quarter of its fiscal 2025, up from ¥1.36 trillion a year ago.
Operating profit fell nearly 28% year-over-year to ¥1.22 trillion, marking a second consecutive quarterly decline. Revenue grew to ¥12.39 trillion, exceeding the ¥12.1 trillion estimate.
Toyota's vehicle sales dropped to 2.44 million units from 2.55 million a year earlier. The automaker also reported a 10% increase in electrified vehicle sales, with hybrid models leading growth.
