Toyota Motor Co. will be rolling out its new hydrogen fuel cell (FC) truck at the end of 2026, Nikkei reported on Wednesday.
The FC system, which will be produced domestically, is likely to be installed on smaller trucks from Commercial Japan Partnership Technologies Corporation, a company Toyota created in partnership with Isuzu Motors Limited and Hino Motors, Ltd.
Toyota expects 700 to 5,000 units of the new truck to be manufactured annually for the Japanese market.
