Houthis spokesperson Yahya Saree (pictured) said on Sunday that the Yemeni rebel group targeted the United States aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman and several "enemy" warships in the northern Red Sea using missiles and drones "in response to the US aggression."

The rebel group also claimed an attack on Israel's Ben Gurion Airport, located near Tel Aviv, hitting it with a Palestine 2 hypersonic ballistic missile. Houthis said that the operation "successfully achieved its goal" and suspended air traffic at the airport for more than half an hour.

Meanwhile, the Israeli military said that it intercepted a missile launched from Yemen before it crossed into Israel's territory.
