Trump's EPA nominee: Pipe bomb with pro-Palestinian message left at his home

EPA-EFE/JUSTIN LANE

Former New York Congressman Lee Zeldin (pictured), who has been selected to be the new Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator in Trump's cabinet, said on Wednesday that a pipe bomb with a "pro-Palestinian themed message" was left outside of his residence.

"We are working with law enforcement to learn more as this situation develops," Zeldin said, adding that none of his family members were at home when the pipe bomb was discovered.

Earlier today, Trump-Vance transition team spokesperson Karoline Leavitt shared that multiple appointees who have been selected to join the Trump administration have been targeted with violent threats and "swatting." The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) noted that an investigation into the situation will be carried out.
