When asked to weigh in on the possibility of a full Israeli takeover of the Gaza Strip, United States President Donald Trump said that he is focused on securing food for the hunger-stricken enclave.
"We are there now trying to get people fed," Trump said, adding that he expects Israel and several Arab states to help out with distribution and funding. "So that's what I'm focused on, as far as the rest of it, I really can't say, that's going to be pretty much up to Israel," Trump concluded.
His comments come in the wake of a media report suggesting that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu decided to push for a full occupation of the Gaza Strip.
