Donald Trump Jr. questioned on Tuesday the effectiveness of the security protocols followed in the Pennsylvania rally where his father former President Donald Trump survived an assassination attempt, Axios reported.
Trump Jr. said that for the shooter Thomas Matthew Crooks to have reached the roof and have enough time to position himself targeting his father there must have been "a serious breach of something." He stated one of the questions to be solved by investigations is how the person went up the building, was seen by the people and there was no action to prevent the attack.
"A guy does not get on a rooftop with a rifle where there's people, and now I've seen the videos for five minutes saying 'there's a guy on a rooftop with a gun […] It literally doesn't happen, I've shot with these guys, I came from a competitive shooting background, ... that doesn't happen without a serious breach of something," Axios quoted him.
