Trump Media surges 20% after NYC rally

Shares of Trump Media & Technology Group skyrocketed as much as 20% on Monday to reach its highest value since early June following Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump's rally in New York City over the weekend.

The surge in stock price was fueled by growing optimism surrounding Trump's presidential candidacy. FiveThirtyEight's election model suggests Trump has a 54% chance of beating Vice President Kamala Harris. According to Polymarket, Trump could attract 66% of voter support, while Harris is projected to receive only 34%.

The company's stock jumped 20.33% to sell at $46.85 apiece at 12:45 pm ET.
