US President Donald Trump's official online store released a 'TRUMP 2028' hat on Thursday.
Trump previously addressed speculation about running for an additional term during a conversation with NBC News on 30 March. The Constitution's 22nd Amendment explicitly states that no individual can serve as president for more than two four-year terms.
"A lot of people want me to do it. But, I mean, I basically tell them we have a long way to go, you know, it's very early in the administration," he said on the matter. When asked if he wanted another term, the president stated, "I like working" and that "there are methods" to circumvent the US Constitution.
