Trump, UAE national security advisor talk cooperation

United States President Donald Trump hosted United Arab Emirates (UAE) National Security Advisor Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan (pictured right) at the White House to discuss security, economic growth and technological cooperation.

Trump said the evening reflected the long-standing friendship between the US and UAE, emphasizing their shared efforts to promote peace and security in the Middle East. He added that discussions focused on "ways for our countries to increase our partnership for the advancing of our economic and technological futures."

Senior US officials attended the meetings and a formal dinner.
