Trump, Xi summit to reportedly happen in June

United States President Donald Trump and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping's potential "birthday summit" in June in the US is being discussed between the countries, The Wall Street Journal reported on Monday, citing people familiar with the matter.

The sources cautioned that the discussions are said to be in the early stages and nothing has been firmed up for now. Previously, the South China Morning Post had reported that the two leaders were expected to convene in China in April.
