United States President Donald Trump's administration is allegedly considering imposing 15% tariffs on large parts of the global economy for 150 days, by invoking an existing trade law that would allow such a move, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing people familiar with the matter.

No final decision has been made and the administration may wait before implementing the plan after a federal appeals court temporarily reinstated Trump's tariffs, following the US Court of International Trade's (CIT) decision to strike them down.
