United States President-elect Donald Trump announced two more key appointments to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB). Trump said he chose Ed Martin to serve as chief of staff, while Congressman Dan Bishop from North Carolina was nominated as deputy director for budget.

In his announcement post on Truth Social, Trump praised Martin's leadership, noting his previous role as chief of staff to Governor Ed Blunt and his co-authoring of the book The Conservative Case for Trump, going on to call Martin "a winner who will help Make America Great Again!"

Trump also expressed enthusiasm about Congressman Dan Bishop's appointment, saying that he will implement his "cost-cutting and deregulatory agenda" across all agencies and "root out the weaponized deep state." Trump emphasized Bishop's experience as a "tireless fighter" for the MAGA movement and his successful career as a business litigator and a public servant.
