Trump calls Jack Smith 'deranged' after report release

United States President-elect Donald Trump commented on Tuesday on the recently released report by Special Counsel Jack Smith, calling him "deranged" and "desperate."

"Deranged Jack Smith was unable to successfully prosecute the Political Opponent of his 'boss,' Crooked [US President] Joe Biden, so he ends up writing yet another 'Report' based on information that the Unselect Committee of Political Hacks and Thugs ILLEGALLY DESTROYED AND DELETED, because it showed how totally innocent I was, and how completely guilty [Former United States House Speaker] Nancy Pelosi, and others, were. Jack is a lamebrain prosecutor who was unable to get his case tried before the Election, which I won in a landslide," Trump said in a post on Truth Social, adding that "the voters have spoken."

Trump also claimed that the fact that the report was released at 1:00 am ET shows how "desperate" he is.
