Former United States President and Republican frontrunner Donald Trump on Friday expressed confidence that he will return to the Oval Office this year and will help bring the United States back "quicker."

"We're going to win this bigger than ever before," Trump said during the rally in South Carolina, stressing that under the Trump administration, the United States was "stronger" and "richer." "Gotta beat crooked Joe Biden, if it's going to be him. I don't know if he's going to make it to the starting gate," the former president stressed.

"The inflation that he [President Joe Biden] caused primarily 'cause of his stupid energy policies. Windmills all over the place," Trump said, adding that wind energy represents "the most expensive energy" in the world, calling it the "new green scam."
