United States President Donald Trump on Thursday voiced his hope that Europe is going to "be great again," as currently it is facing "a lot of problems."
Speaking from the Oval Office alongside Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, Trump said that Europe's problems stem from immigration. "I'm not a big fan of Europe and what they've done with immigration at all. And I think they've got to get smart because Europe is being very badly hurt by what they've done with immigration," he emphasized.
In addition, he hailed Meloni's stance on immigration, adding that Europe is important to him and the entire world. "I want Europe to do very well," he concluded.
