United States President Donald Trump expressed hope that Russia and Ukraine will reach a deal "this week." In addition, the president said both countries would then be able to "start to do big business" with the US.
In a series of posts on TruthSocial, Trump also noted "the golden rule of negotiation and success: he who has the gold makes the rules."
Speaking about tariffs, Trump denounced businessmen who criticize them, stating they "are bad at business, but really bad at politics. They don't understand or realize that I'm the greatest friend American capitalism has ever had."
