Trump invites Netanyahu to WH on February 4

United States President Donald Trump invited Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to meet with him at the White House on February 4, the latter's office announced on Tuesday.

In a notice to the media, the prime minister's team underscored that Netanyahu is the first foreign leader Trump will welcome in Washington DC after starting his second term as president.

The confirmation came a day after the potential visit was reported. Meanwhile, Trump told the media aboard the Air Force One that the meeting will be held "very soon."
