United States President-elect Donald Trump announced that he is nominating Ed Russo to lead the environmental advisory task force and Bill Briggs as deputy administrator of the United States Small Business Administration (SBA).

In a post on Truth Social, Trump praised Russo as an "environmental expert. " He said the task force will advise the incoming administration, aid in job creation, and safeguard the country's natural resources.

The president-elect also commended Briggs, who served as acting associate administrator in the Office of Capital Access at the SBA during Trump's first term, on his work on the "historical" Paycheck Protection Program. Briggs will serve with Kelly Loeffler, who was nominated as the SBA administrator.
