Trump names Stephen Miran as top economic adviser

United States President-elect Donald Trump announced that Stephen Miran will be his nominee for chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers.

Trump said Miran will join his economic team to deliver what he called a "great economic boom" for all Americans.

Miran previously served as a senior advisor for economic policy at the US Treasury Department during Trump's first term.
