Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump told reporters on Tuesday that he is ready to commit to debating the Democratic presumptive nominee, current United States Vice President Kamala Harris, if she is confirmed as her party's candidate.
Trump said in a call with reporters that he would be open to multiple debates with Harris, but added he is not happy with ABC hosting a debate. "I would be willing to do more than one debate, absolutely," the ex-US president stated. "I think if you're in the Democratic nominee or Republican nominee, you really have an obligation to debate," he added.
The Republican was scheduled to debate Biden on ABC on September 10 before the current president dropped his bid for reelection and endorsed Harris amid pressure from his party over his under-par performance in his first debate with Trump.
