Trump says EU has to equalize on aid to Ukraine

Former United States President Donald Trump stated that the European Union has to provide aid to Ukraine in equal amounts as the US during his rally in Freeland, Michigan.

He noted that the EU has "about the same amount of money as the US," which left him wondering why the EU doesn't equalize with the US regarding payments to Ukraine. "...and this is a much bigger issue for them. We have an ocean between us," Trump said, referring to the distance between Russia and the US.

He underscored that he will end the war between the two countries as he "knows them both."
