Former United States President Donald Trump stated that he is "sure" that former US Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley, who dropped out of the Republican presidential race, will be on his team in "some form."

"I appreciated what she said," Trump told a News 12 reporter after his rally in the Bronx, referring to Haley announcing that she would vote for him in November.

"You know, we had a nasty campaign, it was pretty nasty. But she's a very capable person, and I'm sure she's going to be on our team in some form," Trump stated, adding that he and Haley have "a lot of the same ideas, same thoughts."
