Trump says Orban wants him back in office

Former United States President Donald Trump criticized the current global situation, citing conflicts in the Middle East. He referenced comments by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, who attributed global unrest to Trump not being in office.

According to Trump, Orban believes that Trump's previous leadership prevented conflicts because nations like Russia and China feared him.

Trump further claimed that his use of tariffs effectively deterred potential wars. Speaking about the tariffs, Trump vowed to implement them again if elected. "Other countries that make us pay a heavy tax to do business with them will be charged the same tax when they send their products to the United States ... It will be called the Reciprocal Trade Act," Trump said. "If any other country charges us a 100 or 200 percent tariff or tax, we will likewise charge them," he added, even if that means targeting Washington's allies, including the European Union.
