United States President-elect Donald Trump announced he's bringing back Tom Homan, his former acting Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) director, to serve as his "border czar."
"I am pleased to announce that the Former ICE Director, and stalwart on Border Control, Tom Homan, will be joining the Trump Administration, in charge of our Nation’s Borders, including, but not limited to, the Southern Border, the Northern Border, all Maritime, and Aviation Security," Trump wrote on Truth Social.
Homan, who was widely expected to rejoin Trump's administration, will also be "in charge of all Deportation of Illegal Aliens back to their Country of Origin," Trump added, noting that he has "no doubt" that Homan will do a "fantastic, and long awaited for, job."
