United States President Donald Trump said during the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) dinner event that companies are "pouring back" into the US due to his trade policies.
"With the tariffs that we're doing... Companies are pouring back into our country with plants," Trump said. "There's a run on sites, there's a run on old plants, most of them are being ripped down for new plants, they've stopped building in Mexico, four or five plants, they're all coming into the United States," he said.
"And the chipmakers are coming in," Trump added.
