United States President Donald Trump stated he "solved the NATO problem last week" during an interview on Fox News.

"Every country is now paying substantially more money, like from 2% to 5%, and they weren't paying the two, but they're paying the five and it's over a trillion dollars a year," Trump said, adding that now the US had a "big voice in NATO. Now, we had not much of a voice, with [Former US President Joe] Biden, you had no voice at all."
