United States President Donald Trump told reporters at the White House he may adjust tariffs on some countries, depending on their willingness to negotiate trade deals.
"Some of them want to make a deal, want to be fair," he said, adding that others may have taken advantage of the US for decades. Trump emphasized that while the current decision seems final, he remains open to better offers.
The comments follow his move to increase tariffs on goods from Japan, South Korea and other nations.
