United States President Donald Trump signed a bill on Saturday to fund the government through the end of September, preventing a partial shutdown.
The continuing resolution will keep funding close to current levels but makes slight adjustments. It trims non-defense funding by $13 billion while adding $6 billion to defense, keeping the total budget near $1.7 trillion.
The Senate approved the measure on Friday with a 54-46 vote, with 10 Democrats crossing party lines to vote for the legislation.
