Trump slams courts over drawn-out migrant removals

United States President Donald Trump, in a post on Truth Social, criticized a recent court ruling that blocked his administration's attempt to revoke the legal status and work permits of over 530,000 migrants from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua and Venezuela. A federal judge ruled that the migrants, who entered the country under former President Joe Biden's humanitarian parole program, cannot be processed as a group and must each receive a case-by-case review.

Trump used the ruling to attack the broader court system, calling it "totally out of control." He argued that handling the cases individually could take about 100 years and claimed the courts hold a political bias against him.

"What Common Sense do we have when we have to have 530,000 trials?" Trump wrote. He argued that while the Biden administration could quickly bring in migrants, his side now faces long, individual hearings to send them back. "Where is the justice here?" Trump asked.
