United States President Donald Trump will have lunch with Pakistani Chief of the Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir on Wednesday, according to the White House schedule.
The encounter is scheduled for 1:00 pm ET. It will come after Pakistan openly supported Iran amid the latter's ongoing conflict with Israel.
Previously, the White House denied that it invited Munir to the Washington Military Parade on Saturday. Meanwhile, it was reported that the army chief was booed by a number of people of Pakistani origin during his visit to Washington DC.
