OpenAI introduced a new version of its artificial intelligence chatbot on Tuesday, designed specifically for use by the United States government agencies.
The company's Chief Product Officer Kevin Weil described the new model, dubbed ChatGPT Gov, as a "powerful economic driver" designed to "boost productivity" and "create new opportunities" across various sectors in the United States.
The new product will enable agencies to operate within their own Microsoft Azure commercial cloud or Azure Government community cloud, allowing them to "manage their own security, privacy, and compliance requirements," Felipe Millon, OpenAI's head of federal sales, explained during a press call, according to CNBC.
